Skills and Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of Bookkeeping experience.

· Proficiency in financial statements, bookkeeping, and journal entries.

· Solid understanding of basic accounting/ financial principles.

· Experience with financial statements, processing payroll, payroll taxes, sales tax, and cost accounting.

· Familiarity with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, and Microsoft Suite.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Exceptional customer service aptitude.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

· Self-directed with the capability to complete projects independently.

· Associate's degree in accounting (Bachelor's degree preferred).

· Relevant certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper are advantageous.

· Familiarity with accounting software.

· Effective team player.

· Capable of lifting approximately 15-20 lbs.

As a full-time on-site Bookkeeper at Professional Building Services of the Quad Cities, Inc., you will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial tasks. This includes maintaining financial statements, recording journal entries, processing payroll, and utilizing accounting software.
